It's HAMMER TIME!

Warhammer update:

Because of mis-cast errors on the gauss rifle that are un reparable, I have decided to graft the PPC back on to the hardpoint.
The interior of the cannon was hollow so I decided to fill it with some white putty to make the mount sturdier.

Tip of the day: use squadron's white putty VERY SPARINGLY, as two much will start melting styrene or any other plastic type.
Because of this I replaced the styrene wide flange with a 4.77 mm thick aluminum rod. I wish I had bothered to take photos of this process because of how well it went.

Instead of the digital camo I was planning to do I have decided on a classic grey death Legion urban camouflage. Which is a light grey with various shades of brown camouflage.

A little history on the grey death legion according to sarna  the BT wiki.

The grey death legion was founded by Grayson Death Carlyle in 3024. The infamous unit (under contract of house marik) found the "Helm Memory Core" in 3028, which was considered "Lostech" (lost-tech) to the inner sphere, that sparked great technological advancements.
In 3065, the unit was destroyed in the defence of defiance Industries along with several steiner units fighting off house davion's forces.

I am modeling the first company's fire lance warhammer as of 3039; piloted by Lieutenant  Hassen Ali Khalid.

As no particular details on embellishments on the this warhammer were given; the PPC barrels will be marked with
"thunder!" And "lightning!" Get it? Because that's both what the PPC looks and sounds like when firing.

That is it for this post, see you next Monday.
